Freestyle Legends Bermuda 2027 Brings World Champion Kiteboarding to Bermuda

Freestyle Legends is preparing an international celebration of kiteboarding in Bermuda from February 2–7, 2027, with competition and ticketed event experiences scheduled for February 3–7. The event will be based at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa, bringing together leading riders, fans and the global kiteboarding community.

The announced athlete lineup includes Gisela Pulido, ten-time Women's Freestyle World Champion and Olympian, alongside Jeremy Burlando, Lorenzo Casati and Leonardo Casati, representing consecutive men's world-championship years, and Giel Vlugt, a world-class Big Air athlete. The event is designed to connect kiteboarding's legendary talent with a new generation of riders.

Bermuda as a destination for world-class sport

Freestyle Legends is working with Bermuda Tourism Authority, BermudAir, Cambridge Beaches and other official partners to build a destination event around elite sport, island hospitality and international travel.

Beyond the sporting showcase, the program invites kite schools, clubs, instructors and rider communities to explore organized group trips, event tickets and hospitality opportunities. School-specific promotions, travel packages and experiences are subject to separate confirmation and availability.

Freestyle Legends has begun outreach to kiteboarding schools near BermudAir gateways across North America and the Caribbean. Schools interested in bringing members, students or instructors to Bermuda can use the Kite Crew group-planning inquiry form.
