Privacy notice.
We collect only information needed to respond to your enquiry and coordinate conservation activities.
Forms and Guardian registration collect name, contact details, area and information voluntarily submitted. Guardian pass links are private bearer links. Never forward your pass link to others. They are stored on Harborview-managed infrastructure, available to authorized program administrators, and used only for program operations and appropriate follow-up.
Emergency observations must be reported directly to BAMZ by phone. Photo sightings may contain GPS or camera metadata. We use exact GPS only when you consent, store the location in a restricted database, and re-encode uploaded images to remove embedded metadata. Photographs and precise coordinates are available to authorized program staff, not published on an open map. Reports can be reviewed and mapped internally, including in an on-server Valkyrie-compatible worklist; they are not automatically verified or sent to rescue responders. You can request correction or deletion from the program team. Form submissions are not sent to emergency responders automatically. Do not share sensitive private data or precise nesting coordinates in public forums. Contact the program administrator through your original enquiry to request correction or deletion of your details.
This is a proposed Freestyle Legends conservation initiative powered by Harborview, not an official Bermuda Government, Bermuda Zoological Society or Bermuda Turtle Project service. No formal partnership is implied.
