VIX BLOCKCHAIN · TURTLE EVIDENCE

Every sighting.
A lasting proof.

Original reports, review decisions and authorized research updates get separate privacy-preserving SHA-256 commitments. Evidence stays off-chain; only a minimal proof is intended for VIX once the network is operational.

LOCAL EVIDENCE PROOFS0

Saved and independently integrity-checkable inside the programme system.

AWAITING VIX NETWORK0

Not on-chain until submission and independent confirmation.

ON-CHAIN CONFIRMED0

Only genuinely validated VIX transactions count here.

◎

Network: Awaiting VIX mainnet activation

Network not armed. Local evidence receipts are queued; no blockchain confirmation implied.

Last checked UTC: 2026-11-05 05:25:01. Monitoring is not evidence that a transaction has been submitted.

ReportSubmit a turtle sighting and receive a private evidence record.
VerifyScientists and authorized staff can append review decisions without rewriting the original observation.
AnchorAfter the VIX gateway is authorized and blocks are final, the commitment can be recorded on the chain.

WHY BLOCKCHAIN FOR TURTLES?

What VIX can verify, what requires scientific review, how private GPS stays protected, and the difference between a local receipt and a confirmed transaction.

SCIENCE-LED TRACKING

Follow a real
Bermuda turtle.

The Sea Turtle Conservancy publishes named turtle tracking pages. Open their original maps for latest available movement data and dates. Tracking is not necessarily active; publisher retains data and map rights.

🌿

Green turtles

Common around Bermuda’s seagrass feeding grounds. Juveniles use the islands as a growing-up habitat.

🪸

Hawksbill turtles

Often associated with coral reefs. Their pointed beak helps them feed in reef habitats.

🌊

Loggerheads

Occasionally observed offshore, rather than being Bermuda’s main resident juvenile sea turtle.
